A business owner who posts as Future Forward runs more than one business. He uploaded his tax return to Grok Bot and asked it to look it over. It spotted that he hadn't claimed Employment Allowance (a relief on employer National Insurance) for one of his businesses last year. That took £3,990 off this year's tax bill.
Who did it
Try it now
- Gather last year's tax return and payroll summary for each business.
- Have the bot list every allowance, relief and credit that business could claim.
- Ask it to mark which ones you claimed and which you didn't.
- Take the list of possible misses to your accountant.
- Let your accountant make the claim or the correction.
Here is last year's tax return and payroll summary for my business. List every allowance, relief or credit a business like mine could claim, show which ones I claimed, and flag any I may have missed with how much each could be worth. Don't file anything.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported from his own post. Tax rules and eligibility depend on your country and business, and Employment Allowance has its own rules, so have your accountant confirm before you claim. Safer version: the bot only reads and flags; your accountant files. Build it with Page: a simple page for your accountant with the documents they need each year.
