Have a Grok Bot find an underserved local service, buy the domain and build a lead site for $11

Result

self-reported

An $11 domain and a site his Grok Bot built brought in three crane rental leads within a month, including one worth about $3,000 and one worth about $23,000. A second $11 site for shower doors in Brownsville moved from 14th to 10th on Google in a week.

Chris Koerner owns 8 RV parks and 7 companies. He had Grok Bot look for cities with more demand than supply for a service. It flagged crane rental in Laredo, Texas. The bot bought laredocranerental.com with his card, built the site, and set up Google Analytics and Search Console. Every Monday it sends him a ranking report. He has never rented a crane. He gives the leads free to the one local crane operator with a web presence for now. Later he plans to make each site exclusive to one company at about $800 a month.

Try it now

  1. Ask Grok Bot to find cities near you where a boring service has more searches than businesses: few listings in the Google Map Pack, few or weak reviews, cheap clicks.
  2. Pick one, check that the plain domain (city + service .com) is open, and have the bot buy it once you approve the spend.
  3. Have it build a simple quote-request site, then connect Google Analytics and Search Console.
  4. Set a Monday routine: the bot reports where each site ranks and lists every new lead.
  5. Call the local operator, read them a real lead word for word, and give the first few away free. Once they close, charge a monthly fee for exclusive leads.
Copy-paste prompt
You are my local lead-site scout. Find 5 US cities within [region] where [service type, e.g. crane rental, shower door install] has more demand than supply: few businesses in the Google Map Pack, few or weak reviews, and real search volume. For each, give the city, the service, the evidence (5 data points), and whether [city][service].com is available. Don’t buy anything. When I pick one, draft a one-page quote-request site with a short form (name, phone, job details, dates) and a plan to connect Google Analytics and Search Console. Then every Monday, send me where the site ranks and every new lead.

Make it run every week

A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:

  1. Run it once and check the result yourself.
  2. Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
  3. Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.

What to watch out for

Self-reported on his own show, about a month in. Leads aren’t money until a real operator closes them, so line up the business that will do the work and be honest with them about who you are. Don’t put a business name or reviews on the site that aren’t real. Build it with Page: the quote-request site itself.
