self-reportedA roofer’s Grok Bot supplementer helped turn a $1,200 repair job into a $31,800 full roof replacement, and a small repair under the deductible into a $13,000 replacement. He says he has 7 AI employees and pays $100 a month for Grok Bot.
Brett Patrick owns Happy Days Roofing & Construction and Good Boy Gutter Protection. He feeds his supplement bot jobs that insurance denied, partly approved, or approved as a full replacement, and it looks for where more can be claimed. He checks its work and gives it the right inputs. His other bots: an office admin that acts as chief of staff, a production manager that watches the job board, orders and job costing, a marketing rep that posts daily and answers leads in Facebook and Nextdoor groups, and a sales rep that follows up the pipeline and drafts estimates. When a job sells, the production bot sends a welcome email within an hour and the sales bot sets up postcards to the 25 homes around it. He also built his own CRM, replacing a platform that cost about $300 a month.
Who did it
Try it now
- Collect your denied and partly approved insurance claims with photos, inspection notes and the adjuster’s estimate.
- Give them to Grok Bot one job at a time and ask what documented damage or code items the estimate left out.
- Check every item it finds against your own inspection before anything goes to the carrier.
- Have it draft the supplement request with line items and photo references for you to review.
- Once that works, add a bot that sends a welcome email within an hour of each sale and sets up postcards to the 25 nearest homes.
You are my insurance supplement reviewer. Here is a claim for [address]: my inspection notes, photos, measurements and the adjuster’s estimate. List every item of damage or required code work that appears in my notes or photos but is missing or underpaid in the estimate, with the line item, quantity, and which photo or note supports it. Don’t add anything you can’t point to in my documents. Then draft a supplement request I can review and send.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported on his own channel. Only claim damage you can document, since padding an insurance claim is fraud, and check your state’s rules on contractors handling claims. He keeps bookkeeping, payroll and sensitive numbers out of the bots and has a human bookkeeper check monthly. Build it with Page: a roof inspection request page.
