self-reportedGrok Bot on the £190 a month Ultra plan runs 19 jobs for his enforcement firm, including daily bank reconciliation, invoice and payment checks, ad spend watch, support ticket chasing and website checks against legislation. He estimates the human equivalent at about £15,000 a month.
Craig is the MD of UK Bailiffs, a commercial enforcement firm. He set Grok Bot up on the Ultra plan at £190 a month and gave it 19 separate jobs. Every day it reconciles the bank, checks invoices and who has paid, watches ad spend, chases open support tickets and checks the website against current legislation, among others. He puts the cost of people doing the same work at about £15,000 a month. That figure is his own estimate, and he says the post itself was written by his bot.
Who did it
Try it now
- List the checks you or your team repeat every day: bank, invoices, ads, tickets, website.
- Give each check to the bot as its own job with a clear daily time.
- Have it report exceptions only, like an unpaid invoice or an ad over budget.
- Keep anything that moves money or contacts a customer waiting for your yes.
- Review the job list monthly and drop the ones nobody reads.
Every morning, reconcile yesterday's bank transactions against our invoices, list who paid and who is overdue, and flag any ad account spending over budget. Don't pay, refund or email anyone without my approval.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported, and the £15,000 a month figure is his own estimate of the human cost, not a measured saving. In a regulated business, keep a person signing off on anything legal or customer facing. Build it with Page: a client portal page where customers check case status so fewer tickets come in.
