self-reportedClaude in the browser worked Amazon customer-service chat until return labels were issued for faux wax seals bought for business mailers. He says that saved several hundred dollars. USPS had told him the seals would push postage to about $9 per piece vs a forever stamp.
Dan Fleming (@DanFleming99) ordered faux wax seals for business mailers. Claude had flagged USPS postage risk; the post office confirmed ~$9 vs a forever stamp, so he would not use them. Amazon's UI blocked returns past 30 days. He had Claude take over browser chat with Amazon CS and got return labels issued. Without AI, he says the boxes would have sat in a drawer.
Who did it
Try it now
- When a marketplace blocks a normal return, paste the order facts and policy into Claude first.
- Ask for the click path through chat or help forms, then let Claude drive the browser if you are comfortable.
- Stay on the call or chat until labels print. Confirm the refund amount before you ship.
- Do not share passwords you are not willing to rotate afterward.
- Log what worked so the next exception is faster.
Amazon will not show a return button because this order is older than 30 days. Order facts: [paste]. Walk me through Amazon chat to request a return label for unused faux wax seals that USPS said would raise postage to about $9 each. Then, if I ask, take over the browser chat and stop before any final confirmation I should click myself.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported; "several hundred dollars" is his phrase without a line-item total. Browser agents with account access can change orders. Watch every step. Build it with Page: a mailer offer page so the next print run links cleanly once supplies are right.
