EddieJ (@K4d3sh) is a UK business owner. He started Grok Bot with no secretary budget. In four days of light use he says the bot more than halved his to-do list and estimates the cleared work at about £2600 and over two weeks, for £30 a month.
Who did it
Try it now
- Paste your current to-do list and mark what is secretary-type grunt work vs decisions only you can make.
- Have Grok Bot draft the grunt items first (emails, summaries, research packs) with approve-before-send.
- Clear or delegate each finished draft the same day so the list actually shrinks.
- After a week, price the cleared tasks at what a temp or secretary would have cost.
- Keep spending and external sends as human-approved.
Here is my to-do list for this week [paste]. Split it into (1) grunt work you can draft for me and (2) decisions only I can make. Draft the grunt items with every send marked [DO NOT SEND UNTIL I APPROVE]. Estimate hours each item would take a person.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported after only 4 days; the £2600 and "2 weeks" are his estimate, and he does not list which tasks cleared. Treat as early signal, not a full case study. Build it with Page: a simple services page so drafted emails can point somewhere real.
