self-reportedHe cut a 4 hour client research and proposal process down to about 15 minutes with Grok Bot.
Mr Seven does marketing, development and consulting. He used to spend about 4 hours researching a client and writing the proposal. Now Grok Bot does it in about 15 minutes. He says the difference wasn't a better prompt: it was forcing a strict output format, feeding in real constraints (industry, budget, pain points) and making the bot flag its assumptions before the final version. He also has it cite sources for competitor, market and integration research.
Who did it
Try it now
- Write one strict proposal format: the same sections in the same order every time.
- For each new client, give the bot their industry, budget and pain points.
- Have it research the client and competitors and cite every source.
- Make it list its assumptions before it writes the final version.
- Correct the assumptions, then read and send the proposal yourself.
Research this client and write a proposal in my exact format: [sections]. Their industry is [x], budget [y], pain points [z]. Cite a source for every fact about them or their competitors. Before the final version, list every assumption you made so I can correct it.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported from his own post. Research can be wrong or out of date, which is why he makes the bot cite sources and flag assumptions. Read every proposal before it goes to a client. Build it with Page: a proposal page per client you can update by talking to it.
