Have a Grok Bot build your Shopify shop and turn scanned stock into listings

self-reported

He built his entire trading card shop with Grok Bot and a Shopify connection in under 10 hours of bot time: theme, branding, menus, mobile fixes and a catalog made from scanned cards turned into listings automatically.

Longsword Collectibles sells trading card singles, sealed product and graded slabs on eBay, mostly One Piece, Riftbound and Magic. To open his own store, the owner connected Grok Bot to Shopify and had it do the build. It set up the theme, branding and menus, fixed the mobile layout and turned his scanned cards into product listings. The whole shop took under 10 hours of bot time and is live in preview ahead of opening.

Try it now

  1. Connect the bot to your Shopify store with the access it needs.
  2. Give it your brand basics: name, colors, logo and the menu you want.
  3. Scan or photograph your stock and have it turn each item into a listing with title, details and price.
  4. Have it check every page on a phone and fix layout problems.
  5. Review a sample of listings for accuracy before you open the doors.
Copy-paste prompt
You have access to my Shopify store. Set up the theme with my brand: name [name], colors [colors], logo [attached]. Build menus for [categories]. Then turn each scanned item in [folder] into a draft product: title, condition, set or category, and a price based on my price list [list]. Keep everything as drafts. Check the store on mobile and fix layout issues. Send me a list of anything you weren’t sure about.

Make it run every week

A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:

  1. Run it once and check the result yourself.
  2. Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
  3. Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.

What to watch out for

Self-reported from his own post. The shop was in preview, not open yet. Check prices and condition on a sample of listings, since one wrong price on a rare card is costly. Build it with Page: a landing page that sends buyers to the shop.
