Let a Grok Bot write, price and list your art for sale
self-reported
A studio assistant bot wrote the story behind 50+ original paintings, drawings and art cards, priced them, worked out shipping and built eBay drafts, work she says would have taken her weeks, while she kept painting.
Sharmaine Rayner is an artist and the founder of Born Mystics. Listing art online is slow: every piece needs its story, a price and shipping before it can go up. She handed all of it to her studio assistant Grok Bot. While she worked on a painting, it wrote the story behind each of her 50+ original paintings, drawings and art cards, priced them, worked out shipping and built her eBay drafts. She says it did what would have taken her weeks.

86 this: a safety check that warns but still passes
self-reported
A late-package check passed while an order sat 27 hours with no proof it had shipped, because four orders were saved without a sale time. The bot’s nightly review caught it, and the rerun failed and named the late order.
Ryan Hanley runs a sports card business on the side with Grok Bot. One bot’s whole job is to flag late packages. But four orders had been saved without the time they sold, and a fix from the night before, meant to stop the check from crashing, turned that missing time into a warning. So the check warned and still passed, while an order sat 27 hours with no proof of shipping. His bot Carl caught it in a nightly review and changed the rule: if the sale time is missing, use the time the shipping label was printed. If there’s no time at all, the check fails. The rerun failed and named the late order.

Train a Grok Bot once on your weekly busywork and cut it to 10 minutes
self-reported
Two hours of weekly busywork became one hour of training the first week and about 10 minutes the next, on a $30/month X subscription.
JoshFL runs a small, licensed firearms business on his own. Instead of spending two hours on busywork, he spent an hour showing his Grok Bot how to do it. The next week the same job took him about 10 minutes. He says the bot learns the task the first time and keeps doing it until it’s done, and his $30/month plan has had plenty of room for the training.

Shops and e-commerceChatGPT
Give ChatGPT your reselling to-do list to finish overnight
self-reported
About 8 hours of reselling work spread over several days now gets done by ChatGPT overnight while she sleeps.
Mindi is a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom building a $10K+/month resale business. She used to stay up late to chip away at her reselling to-do list. Now she hands the list to ChatGPT before bed. Work she estimates would have taken about 8 hours over several days gets done overnight, and she spends her daytime hours on the parts of the business that need her.

Have a Grok Bot build your Shopify shop and turn scanned stock into listings
self-reported
He built his entire trading card shop with Grok Bot and a Shopify connection in under 10 hours of bot time: theme, branding, menus, mobile fixes and a catalog made from scanned cards turned into listings automatically.
Longsword Collectibles sells trading card singles, sealed product and graded slabs on eBay, mostly One Piece, Riftbound and Magic. To open his own store, the owner connected Grok Bot to Shopify and had it do the build. It set up the theme, branding and menus, fixed the mobile layout and turned his scanned cards into product listings. The whole shop took under 10 hours of bot time and is live in preview ahead of opening.

Have ChatGPT turn your price sheets into a quoting tool that runs in the browser
self-reported
A vehicle sales rep turned his PDF and Excel price sheets into an interactive quoting tool. Quotes with several vehicles and many configurations used to take him 20+ minutes. Now they take about 5 minutes with no mistakes.
Cristian Liani works in international vehicle sales in Miami. His quotes often include several vehicles with lots of configuration options, so pulling prices from PDF price sheets and Excel files took time and invited errors. He gave ChatGPT all of his pricing files and had it build an interactive quoting tool that runs right in the browser.

Have a Grok Bot draft every email reply with your customer history already pulled
self-reported
The owner of a business that makes over $1 million a year in profit with no staff says email used to take him a couple of hours a day. Now his Grok Bot drafts every reply and he’s done in 5 to 10 minutes, which he figures is more than a full working day back each week.
Dane Shelford runs a business that buys and sells physical products, with no staff and no office. Freelancers and a storage unit cover the rest. He connected Grok Bot to his old emails, customer records and accounting software, so when a customer asks about an order it already knows the history. It writes the reply in the same tone he uses with each person, but it can’t send anything on its own. He reads and hits send. It also sends his list of open orders, writes invoices when he makes a sale, and he built a one-page dashboard with Claude Code showing who owes him money, open orders and the bank balance. Setup took about 5 minutes. Getting it right took a few weeks of corrections.

Have Grok Bot build an AI phone line that checks orders and changes them safely
self-reported
Built an AI phone agent in about two days, and it’s now Beardbrand’s main support line. The voice costs about 8 cents a minute and the middle service runs on Cloudflare’s free tier.
Eric Bandholz, founder of Beardbrand, had his Grok Bot build a phone support agent on xAI’s voice builder, connected to Shopify and Recharge through a small Cloudflare Worker so store keys never touch the agent. It gives order status with a real delivery date, changes unshipped addresses, handles lost packages and subscription skips, and emails a checkout link instead of taking cards. Private changes need a 6-digit code sent to the email on file. Every call lands on a dashboard inside Shopify admin.

Have a Grok Bot build your email campaigns as Klaviyo drafts
self-reported
A small-batch boot maker replaced his email agency with a Grok Bot. Each campaign now takes him about five minutes to review before he hits send.
Will Roman runs Chisos Boots, which makes boots in small batches. His Grok Bot writes campaigns in the brand voice, pulls product photos from Dropbox, builds the hero artwork in Figma, and drops a finished, editable campaign into Klaviyo as a draft. He reviews it for about five minutes and sends it himself.

Give yourself an AI chief of staff, CMO and CFO
vendor-reported
Executive-role AI agents saved her 7–10 hours a week on admin, and the back-to-school sale they helped plan hit its revenue target.
Octavia Phillips makes natural skincare in Philadelphia. After free Verizon Small Business Digital Ready trainings, she built AI agents for chief of staff, CMO and CFO roles. The CFO agent helped structure a back-to-school sale and the CMO agent wrote the ad and email copy. Her separate 300% revenue jump came from raising prices, not from AI.

Shops and e-commerceMeta Muse
Photograph your wholesaler catalog and let Muse build the weekly grocery ad
as reported
Weekly ad down from “a couple of hours” to about 15 minutes; payroll at least 15 minutes faster (owner-reported to journalist / Meta launch materials).
Tom Mulholland, 66, fourth-generation owner of Mulholland Grocery in Malvern, Iowa (10–11 staff), photographs highlighted wholesaler catalog pages and sends them to Meta’s Muse agent (“Wally”), which builds the weekly ad. He also photos staff schedules and time cards for date changes and payroll math.

Turn your morning spreadsheet into a one-button tool
as reported
An estimated 86 hours a month saved, and about £20,000 a year in staff costs, on a £20/month subscription.
When a staff member left, they tried Claude instead of hiring. Oliver built a tool in about three hours that works out each morning’s production list, plus one-button order labels.

Glue your old POS to your store in one evening
self-reported
“Automated away hours and hours of manual typing” in about two evening hours.
Their old in-store POS could only email out order data. After putting it off for two months, they spent a couple of evening hours with Claude, which wrote a small plugin to pull those emails into their system.
