self-reported"i'd estimate it saves me 25 hours a week, minimum."
Yahli is the bootstrapped founder of Wayve Wear, a natural fiber activewear brand on Shopify. Instead of hiring employees he built AI systems for AI video editing, daily trial reels to grow his Instagram reach, a command center with all his metrics, a photo editing tool, a branded Klaviyo email designer, paid ads monitoring, a web developer for his Shopify store, and Hermes agents that manage automations and keep tabs on parts of the business. He says the key is knowing what not to hand off: you are the human and you make the decisions.
Who did it
Try it now
- List the jobs you'd hire for first: video edits, reels, email design, ad checks.
- Build or set up one AI system for the job that eats the most hours.
- Put all your key numbers in one command center page so you check one place.
- Have an agent watch your paid ads and flag anything off, without changing spend on its own.
- Decide in writing what you will never hand off, and keep those calls yourself.
Every morning, check my paid ads from yesterday and give me spend, sales and cost per sale by campaign. Flag any campaign that got worse by more than 20 percent, and don't change any budgets yourself.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported, and 25 hours is his own estimate. Don't give an agent control of ad budgets or your store without limits. Safer version: let it watch and flag, and you make the changes. Build it with Page: a metrics page for your brand so everything you check lives in one place.
