self-reportedUsing eBay Seller Hub CSV export, one title format, and Grok Bot to rewrite titles, he cleaned up 480 eBay card listing titles in less than an hour, then bulk-uploaded the edits.
TechNRKTreasureTrove (@TechNRKTreasure) sells trading cards on eBay. "Sell one like this" left titles inconsistent after a few hundred listings. He downloaded active listings as CSV, picked one format (Year Set - Player #CardNumber Parallel Team), had Grok Bot rewrite every title under 80 characters and flag missing data, then uploaded via eBay's bulk edit template after testing a few rows.
Who did it
Try it now
- In eBay Seller Hub, download active listings as CSV. Keep Item number as Text.
- Pick one title format under 80 characters and write the rules (never guess card numbers).
- Give Grok Bot the export and format; have it return a CSV with item number and new title, plus flagged rows.
- Fix flagged rows by hand. Test 2 or 3 rows in the bulk edit template before the full upload.
- Upload the full file and spot-check a dozen live titles.
Here is my eBay active listings CSV and my title format: Year Set - Player #CardNumber Parallel/Insert Team. Rewrite every title to match, keep each under 80 characters, fix misspelled player names, and return a CSV with Item number and new Title. Flag any row missing a number, parallel, or team. Never invent a card number.
Make it run every week
A play works once. Turn it into a routine in three small steps:
- Run it once and check the result yourself.
- Give your AI a schedule. Tell it when to run this play (every week, or every month) and to message you with what it found before you act.
- Keep a log. One line per run: what was checked, anything flagged, what you did.
What to watch out for
Self-reported in his X article. He says he used Grok for this run ("AI Bot of choice (I used Grok for this one)") and also refers to Grok Bot in the steps. Bulk title edits can hurt search if the format is wrong, so test a few rows first. Build it with Page: a collector-facing shop page that lists sets the same way as your titles.
